Acceptance Notification:
You will be notified of allocated sessions, requirements, and instructions for oral and poster presentations. If your abstract is accepted, please be sure to register no later than September 10, 2024. Otherwise, your abstract may not be included in the congress publishment.

2024 Abstract Submission Rules and Guidelines

  1. Individuals may present only one (1) abstract. All abstracts should be 300 words or less. Abstract titles are limited to 10 words or less.
  2. Abstracts must exclusively detail on original research.
  3. Individuals can co-author multiple abstracts.
  4. Previously published abstracts (in print or electronically) or those presented at another meeting are not allowed.
  5. You must receive the approval of all co-authors before putting their names on the abstract.
  6. Abstracts will be reviewed if submitted before the abstract submission deadline of September 20, 2024. Presenters are not permitted to modify their abstracts after the submission deadline.
  7. Typographical or grammatical errors that appear in your abstract will also appear in the final Scientific Program.
  8. Abstract notification will be by September 30, 2024.
  9. In order not to miss the early bird registration rate, all accepted presenters should register and pay the fee by October 15, 2024.
  10. If the presenter selects to compete for an award, please choose the category for your research: Basic science or Clinical science research (The Best poster in each category will receive 500 USD and an award plaque).
  • Basic science research [Research work which emphasizes on forming an essential foundation of oral science research.] Subcategories:
    • Cariology;
    • Craniofacial biology;
    • Dental materials;
    • Immunology;
    • Mineralized tissue;
    • Neuroscience;
    • Pharmacology;
    • Microbiology, pulp biology and stem cell biology;
    • Other
  • Clinical science research [Research work which emphasizes clinical implication, not pure basic research.] Subcategories:
    • Behavioral, epidemiology and health services;
    • Dental education;
    • Diagnostic science;
    • Geriatric and special care;
    • Implantology;
    • Oral and maxillofacial surgery;
    • Periodontology;
    • Pediatric dentistry;
    • Restorative dentistry;
    • Other

Abstract format

Title of abstract (size 14 with bold font, less than 10 words)

The English abstract must be less than 300 words.
Times New Roman must be used as the font, and its size must be 12, except the title and subtitle. Abstract should contain:
Aim/Background
(Identify reasons for investigation and provide background information)
Materials/Methods
(Report how the study was conducted, identifying techniques, materials used, and statistical analysis)
Results
(Listing results and their possible significances)
Conclusion
(Provide the concise and definitive conclusion of the study)
Keywords
(Up to 5 keywords in alphabetical order, each keyword must be separated by colon)

E-Poster Format

  1. An E-poster should be set in vertical dimension (90 cm width and 120 cm height).
  2. Poster file should not exceed 10 MB in pdf format.
  3. Title should less than 10 words.
  4. Presenter photo should be placed on the upper left corner of the poster.
  5. Poster number should be placed on the upper right corner of the poster.
  6. The structure of the poster must contain:
    Introduction or Background (please underline the aim of the study)
    Materials and Methods
    Results
    Discussion
    Conclusion
    References (not exceed 3 key references)
    Acknowledgments
  7. Please submit the poster file via 2024TIDC.com website by December 1, 2024.
  8. The E-poster competition will take place on December 11, 2024. Presentation time and award ceremony schedule will be announced on December 6, 2024.
